2002's CREATURE and [Venus'] new CD's RUIN and Dolls with Balls are first rate metal albums so far this millennium. Imagine Bowie when he still sang fruity, fronting Cream circa "White Room." Only harder, dancier, and with notably fewer dead spots.
--Chuck Eddy Village Voice (Short List) (NYC)

...[Venus] fuses a glam/punk image with a blend of sharp and sultry vocals over intense, brooding, bass-driven rhythms. ...bands that entertain their audience, instead of just playing to them, are few and far between, and fewer still can do it with the passion of ATPH, who eat, sleep and breath what they do.
--Mark Hoaksey Powerplay (U.K.)

He/She [Venus] sports a lovely pair of partridge-sized breasts that peek out over a leather bustier, a talent for fearsome guitar licks, and a vocal apparatus that effortlessly blends the power of Diamanda Galas with the decadence of David Bowie.
--Emily Carter The Rake (Mpls)

Anyone that has heard [Venus] perform live will tell you this girl has balls and s/he knows how to use them!
--Val Riffs Magazine (Northern U.K.)

Genuinely talented..[Venus and ATPH] has a unique sense of melody amongst all their dramatic darkness.
